When you lie, you
don`t just lie. You cheat, you mock, you play dirty.
When you lie, you
make a statement - you take someone`s heart in your hands and you say stuff
like `you`re so stupid you`re not gonna find out ever` or `I couldn`t care
less` or `I think you`re better off with a lie, coz you can`t handle the
truth`.
When you lie you`re just
pathetic with the over-explaining of things. No one is asking, but you keep
answering questions. Your voice changes, and sometimes, as convincing as you
are, nothing you say rings true. You know why? Because, despite what some may
think, people still have gut. That magic semi-abstract/semi-concrete part of
your body that can tell you more than you can ever hope to know.
It`s weird how people
claim lying means you care. Don`t let yourself tricked into all that. If you
care, you can have the decency and the respect to speak the truth. Lying makes
you a coward first and an imbecile later on.
When you lie, you
take a chance of forever ruining the bond you have with the person you lie to. You
take a gun and shoot them and somehow you hope they will understand your `need`
to lie, your `good intentions` or your `love` and they will pick themselves up,
blood coming out of their mouths.
It`s all good in the
end, because no lie can ever be kept for too long. Truth always comes running
and screaming from behind. It`s strange how people don`t ever learn that.
There`s always someone who thinks they can tell the perfect lie, commit the
perfect murder, have the perfect, perfect excuse.
I resent that. And
while I know that few are ever ready to hear the truth, I hope there are some
out there who still believe.
